Jealousy. Epic adventure. Really good burritos. Elizabeth Beauvais’s story of a day in the life of an exasperated mom, told live on the All Y’all stage in March 2016, has it all. When Elizabeth’s eight-year-old daughter runs away from home in an act of defiance, mother and daughter find themselves engaged in an emotionally charged standoff that unfolds on the lawns and sidewalks of South Highlands.
In an All Y’all first, we followed-up on this story by having mother interview daughter about what really happened on the day of the Chipotle Rebellion. Stick around after the live story for one of our favorite pieces of “bonus content” in All Y’all history.
All Y’all Live: “I Fought the Law” Now Recruiting Storytellers
In July of 2016, All Y’all Live will take the stage at a venue we’ve never been to before with a night of stories on the theme “I Fought the Law.” We’re seeking powerful, true stories of civil disobedience, righteous indignation, crime and punishment. Do you have a story that would fit this theme? If so, we’d love to hear it! Just call the story hotline at (318) 582-0665 and give us an idea of what your story is about or contact us through our Facebook page.
